Alinda Jean Yates

Alinda Jean Yates, 44, of Ackerman, MS., passed on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Sunday, March 27, 2022, at 3 p.m., from Greater Hope Pentecostal Church, Weir, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home in Weir. Burial will be in the Reform Chapel Church Cemetery, Ackerman, MS. Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Yates leaves to cherish her memories her dear husband, Melvin Yates; one son Quez Stephenson (Alana); two daughters, Aaliyah Yates and Miracle Yates; one granddaughter, Hazel Stephenson all of Ackerman, MS; her siblings, Margaret Miller, Dorothy Steele Carter (Frank) all of Louisville, MS, Geneva Lawrence, Jeanette Cobb, Henry Stephenson, Willie Stephenson, and Catherine Stephenson all of Ackerman, MS; Trina Robinson, Tracy Robinson, and Tammy Robinson all of New Albany, MS, a Special Aunt Margaret Jenkins and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives while developing a special bond with First Lady Marie Scott.
