Alvin Clayton Fancher

Alvin Clayton Fancher, 68, of McCool, MS., passed on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Saint Dominic Hospital, Jackson, MS. A memorial service  will be conducted at a later date by the Family. Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Fancher was born January 20, 1958 to the parents of James Alvin Fancher and Mae Burnis Hannah Fancher in Flint, Michigan.

He was a U. S. Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Fancher; parents, James and Mae Burnis Fancher.

He is survived by his children, Jamal Nance, Nikki Nance and Marcus Fancher; grandchildren, Deontra Nance, Dajann Nance, Daronn Nance, Darell Nance and Zechariah Fancher; sister, Jo Ann Shabazz; a host of  aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and family
