Armetta Faye Haynes

Armetta Faye Haynes, 88 of Louisville, MS., passed on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the  Winston County Nursing Home Louisville, MS. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 11 a.m., from Mount Pleasant #1 Missionary Baptist Church, 2058 Evergreen Road, Louisville, MS. 39339. Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mount Sinai Church Cemetery. 

Mrs. Haynes was born September 7, 1936 in Winston County Mississippi to the parents of Sylvester Potts and Idell Owens. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse Haynes;  children, Ivonia Lett, Emma J. Haynes and Jessie Haynes; grandson, Brandon J. Foster; siblings, Charlie Baxter, Robert C. Jernigan, Monch Jernigan, Sam Jernigan, Cecil Hemphill, Fred Potts and Lonzo Potts.

Mrs. Haynes is survived by; children, Deborah (Jerome) Foster, Katherine Obey, Willie Triplett, David (Dianne) Jernigan and Robert Haynes; siblings, Elizabeth Hernadez, Sarah Jernigan, Bonnie Barnes, Abraham Jernigan and Annie Sims; one grandson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and family.
