Bruce Anthony Thames, 49, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday, October 4, 2020 from Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. on Sunday, October 4, 2020 for the General Public. There will be a private viewing for family only. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Left to cherish Bruce's memory is his wife of 23 years, Debra Thames; four daughters, Ashlie Thames, Haiden Anderson, Telisia Mingo, and one son Tatum Anderson, all of Philadelphia, Mississippi; one grandchild Haizlynn Thames; three sisters, Edith Loggins of Winona, Mississippi; Janet Williams and Jackie Thames, both of Philadelphia, Mississippi; one brother, Herman Thames of Flint, Michigan; father-in-law, Willie Cotton and mother-in-law, Gloria Hickman, both of Philadelphia, Mississippi; six brother-in-laws, Arthur Williams of Philadelphia, Mississippi, Carl Logging of Winona Mississippi; Eric Hickman, Carl Hickman, Willis Hickman, and David Hickman; four sister-in-laws, Teresa Anderson, Lois Hickman, Melissa Bell, all of Philadelphia, Mississippi and Belinda Harris of Atlanta, Georgia; one uncle, Eddie Thames ( Willie) of Kemper County; three aunts, Leola Meridith of Kemper County; Earlene McBeath of Philadelphia, Mississippi, and Annette Fox Murray of Detroit, Michigan; a special friend, William Bell, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
