Daniel Byrd, 72, of Philadelphia, MS., passed on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at the Rush Foundation Hospital, Meridian, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at 2 p.m., from Victory Christian Center, Philadelphia, MS. Visitation will be Friday, from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mississippi Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Newton, MS on 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Beck Funeral Home of Philadelphia, MS., in charge of arrangements. Daniel, was born on September 21, 1949, to the Parents of Frank Byrd and Ollie James Byrd in Chicago, IL. He is survived by his wife, Kittie Byrd; Daughters, Cornelia Byrd, Danielle Byrd, Nicole Woods Carthens, Dionne Ball and Akaylia Sanders; Sons, Daniel LaVan Byrd,Jr., Daniel K. Byrd, Marcus Byrd, Amiri McCullough, Joe Sanders, Robert Sanders, Christian Wilson and Martin Wilson. A host of Grands, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
