Deborah Joyce Henson

Deborah Joyce Henson, 67, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from Goodway M.B. Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Monday, November 11, 2024, from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia.  Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories two daughters, Cassie Henson of Philadelphia, MS, Myia Miller of Dallas, TX; two sons, Lorenzo Hickman and Brandon Miller of Philadelphia, MS; two goddaughters, Latisha Miller of Dallas, TX and Gloria Proctor of Jackson, MS; four stepchildren, Vickie Wooten of Jackson, MS, Derek Henson of Memphis , TN; Shaun Henson and Monica (Charles) Henson O' Neil of Atlanta, GA.  She is also survived by three sisters, Ruby Jean Brazzle, Gail (Barry) Martin and Laura Johnson, all of Philadelphia, MS; one brother Gaddis McAfee, of Philadelphia; one stepsister, Beverly McAfee, and two stepbrothers, Cleveland (Betty) McAfee and Fred McAfee. She was dearly loved loved and cherished by her 6 grandchildren, Brandon, Janyia, Braydon and Bracey Miller, and Cassidy and Lorenzo Hickman; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Cher Henson. two brothers, Curlee Conner and Thomas Conner, two sisters, Mary Ann Nichols and Esther Marie Wells, two stepsisters, Mary Ann Nichols and Esther Marie Wells, two stepsisters, Dorine Sims and Tela Gill and a stepbrother, Charles Ray McAfee.
