.Deseri Floyd-Shannon, 44, of Louisville, MS., passed on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from the Saint Dominic Hospital, Jackson, MS. Funeral Service will be Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 2 p.m., from Still Valley M. B. Church, 560 Armstrong St., Louisville, MS. 39339. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Louisville Memorial Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Deseri, was born November 13, 1981, to the parents of Willie Mac Smith and Catherine Floyd in Winston County Mississippi.

Deseri, is survived by her husband, Jermiris Shannon; sibilings, Lind M. Floyd, Eric Floyd (Sherry), Natasha Walker, Kawana Floyd, Michael Smith (Kayla), Eric Smith (Tela), Jennifer Hoskins (Drell), and William Speight; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and family.
