Doris Priscilla Stennis, 74, of Dekalb, Mississippi, passed on Friday, August 23, 2024 from John C. Stennis Memorial Hospital in Dekalb, Mississippi.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 31, 2024 from Friendship Baptist Church in Dekalb, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Dekalb, Mississippi.  Visitation will be held 10:15 A.M. - 10:45 A.M. Saturday, August 31, 2024 from Friendship Baptist Church.  Beck Funeral home Dekalb is in charge of all arrangements.

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted and loving husband, Paul Stennis, Jr., Godchildren;  Antonesha Gully of Columbus, MS, Tora Hearn, Robert Hearn both of Dekalb, MS and Raymetriss Hearn Smooth, of Groves TX.; one brother, W.C. Clay of Anderson, IN; six sister-in-laws,  Polly Nelson, Mary Scott, and Barbara Williams all of Omaha, NE, Dorothy Stennis of Scooba, MS, Elois Keels of Fresno, CA, and Bertha Conner of Macon, MS, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She also leaves her faithful protector, her dog Lady.
