Emily Faye Bedford, 60, of Weir, Mississippi, passed on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the North Mississippi Medical Center, Eupora, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 20, 2026  at 2 p.m., at Bethsalem Missionary Baptist Church, 6919 Reform-Sturgis Road, Ackerman, MS. 39735. Visitation will be Friday, from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements.

Emily was born October 23, 1965 to the parents of Shirley Howard Lee and Mary Alice Kennedy Lee, in Choctaw County Mississippi.

Emily was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie James Bedford, Jr ; parents, Shirley and Mary Lee; siblings, Cassandra Stackhouse, Shirley Lee, Jr., James Lee, and Gregory Wise;.

Emily is survived by; children, Laketia (Corey) Alston, Leslie Lee, Harold Lee, and Shaquille (Adriane) Bedford; grandchildren, Nautica Lee, Braesha Kennedy, Tanzania Alston, Tatianna Boatman, Jakeria Young, Jakel Bedford, Janilia Bedford, Zykia Lee, Aleah Lee, Molly Lee, Cory Alston, Jr., London lee, and Jaylonie Lee; great grandchildren, Paris Lee and Kingston Lee; Stepmother, Eula Lee; siblings, William (Shawanta) Wise, Sandy (Rhonda) Kennedy, and Willie Jean (Broderick) Chandler; special friend, David Lawrence and special daughter, Cierra Hughes; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,  cousins, and other relatives and family.
