Geneva Bernice Lawrence

Geneva Bernice Lawrence, 69, of Ackerman, MS., passed on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the Baptist Medical Center, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 2 p.m., from Reform Chapel M. B. Church, 5916 Reform-Sturgis Road, Ackerman, MS 39735. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home in Weir.  Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Rafael Patrick, Pastor, will deliver the Eulogy. Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements.

Geneva was born August 16, 1956 to the parents of Lois Stephenson and Bernice Francis Stephenson in Choctaw County Mississippi.

Geneva was preceded in death by his parents, Lois Stephenson and Bernice Stephenson; siblings, William (Red) Stephenson and Alinda (Tooka) Yates.

Geneva is survived by her; children, Margaret (Ronnie) Lawrence, Robert (Regina) Lawrence, Edward Lawrence and Santana (Cedric) Lawrence; grandchildren, Robert Tank Lawrence, Jakobi Townsend and Tamara Hill; siblings, Margaret Miller, Dorothy (Frank) Carter, Jeanette Cobb, Catherine Stephenson, Tracy Robinson, Tammy Robinson, Trinis (Felica) Robinson and Henry Stephenson; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.
