George Odell Brown

George Odell Brown, 60, of Preston, Mississippi passed on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi. Graveside Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 19, 2020 from Preston Pentecostal Apostolic Church Cemetery in Preston, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 12:00 P.M. - 1:15 P.M. Saturday, December 19, 2020 from the Beck Funeral Home Dekalb location for the General Public. Beck Funeral Home Dekalb is in charge of all arrangements.

George was an avid sportsman & enjoyed the company of his friends & relatives. He attended Kemper County Schools and had a good reputation throughout school and the community.

On August 14, 1998, George married Mary Jane ( Nee' Moore) and became a father to Terrick Moore, Anquanetta ( Maurice), and Dominque ( Justin). And into each succeeding generation " he became " PaPa" George and was the proud and loving grandfather of six.

In addition to this warm and caring family, George leaves to rejoice in his memory and mourn his passing; seven brothers along with seven sisters by marriage; Aunt Jean & Uncle Sonny; Aunt Mattie, Aunt Catherine & Uncle James, uncle Lynn, Aunt Ernestine, uncle Jefferson, Aunt Edna, Aunt Tommie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends,
