Huebert Lee Houston

Huebert Houston, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 88.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 28, 2024, from Beck Funeral Home Chapel Philadelphia.   Visitation will be held held 5:00 P.M - 6:00 P.M. Friday, September 27, 2024 from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Burial will follow in Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Born on September 21, 1935, to the late Christiana and Murdock Houston, he grew up in a large, close-knit family. He was preceded by his daughter Sylvia Diane Houston - Dennis, siblings Calvin Houston, Merdock "Pete" Houston, Opal Queen McBeath-Greer, Charolette Houston, and Lillie B. Houston.

Huebert is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret Houston; daughter Priscilla Marie Williams (Melvin); brother Charlie Ray Houston; son-in-law Harold L. Dennis; and grandchildren Dr. Tantaneshia Houston, Stephanie Dennis, Feliece Turner, Christina Gates (Cameron), Yasmin Williams, Adrian Dennis, and Kayla Williams, as well as 9 great-grandchildren and many extended family members.
