James Tommy Love

James Tommy Love, 88, of Louisville, MS., passed on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024 at the Sanctuary Hospice House, Tupelo, Mississippi. Funeral service will be Monday, November 18, 2024 at 11 a.m., from Mount Cannie M. B. Church, 3187 Enon Road, Louisville, MS. Visitation will be Sunday, from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

James Tommy Love was born on March 29, 1936, in Louisville, MS., to Charlie and Winnie Mae Eiland Love. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Elmer Love, Arthur Love, Jimmy Love and Virginia Gilmore.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jettie McCary Love; children, Johnny James Love, Earl (Ida Mae) Love, Mary Love Coleman, James Tommy Love, Jr. (Betty), Charles Leon Love (Mary), Rose Mary Love, Nellie Love Darden and Ella Love Smith all of Louisville, MS; stepchildren, Stephany Estes Coleman, Chassity McCary Ashford (Ernest) both of Louisville, MS. and Woodrow McCary (Dianca) of Jacksonville, FL; 27 grands, and 34 great grands; brother, Rev. George (Juanita) Love, Sr., nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
