James Woods

James Woods, 76, of Ackerman, Mississippi, passed on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the Veteran Hospital, Jackson, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11 a.m., from Gospel Temple COGIC Transformation Center, 8420 MS - 15,  Ackerman, MS. Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home, Weir, MS. 

James was born December 18, 1947 to the parents of Carter Dock Woods and Arneta Fraizer Woods in Choctaw County Mississippi.

James is survived by ; children, Antonia Curtis and LaSonya Francis; Mother, Arneta Miller; siblings, Willie Junior Woods, Harvey Woods, Jimmy (Wanda) Woods, Mary (Otis) Berryhill, Pearl Maxwell and Valerie (Earle) Jackson; grands, 9, ; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and other relatives and friends.
