Jammie O'Neil Horne, 53, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at his residence in Neshoba County, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Jerusalem Temple Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Burial will follow in St. Paul M.B. Church Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.
Jammie O'Neil Horne was born on September 29, 1972, to the late James Edward Horne and the late Joyce Ann Horne.
There are simply not enough words to describe the incredible man Jammie was. To know him was to truly to love him. He never met a stranger, and it was rare to see him without a smile on his face. Full of life and laughter Jammie was truly the life of the party with his warm heart and his unforgettable sense of humor. His legacy of compassion laughter and love will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
Jammie attended Neshoba Central High School where he graduated with the class of 1991. He was a faithful member of Shield of Faith Ministry where he faithfully served as a deacon. Jammie was a dedicated employee of Arm Co. Service. Jammie was proud member of Saint Albany Lodge #394.
Jammie was proceeded in death by his father James Horne, mother Joyce Horne and sister Tiffany Horne. Both maternal and paternal grandparents.
To cherish his memory, Jammie leaves his four sons, Jeremiah Horne, of Indianapolis, IA, Bradley Horne, Philadelphia, MS, Jacquez Horne, Sr., of Southaven, MS, and Ethan Horne of Philadelphia, MS; One daughter, Jamiesha Culpepper, Newton, MS; One sister, Valarie (Truman) Turner, Galilee, MS; One brother, Charles Clemons, Philadelphia, MS; Five grandchildren, Jayceon Horne, London Horne, Jacques Horne, Jr., Bradley Horne, Jr., and Journee Johnson. A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
