Janan LaShay Rush, 35, passed Friday, September 4, 2020 from an Auto Accident in Dekalb, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 P.M. ( Noon) Saturday, September 12, 2020from Beck Funeral Home Dekalb Chapel in Dekalb, Mississippi. Burial will take place in the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Preston, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 9:30 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. for the General Public and Family from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from Beck Funeral Home Dekalb location.

Janan LaShay Rush leaves to cherish her loving memories and life's work: a daughter, Ava Ja'Nae Rush, who she loved indescribably, parents James Henry ( Baby John) and Nancy Rush of Dekalb, MS who they referred to as their baby; four brothers Darryl ( Tonsheedlia) Arnold of Chicago, IL, Charles McGraw ( Monica) of Dekal;b, MS, Nathan Arnold ( Toccara) of Preston, MS, and Dr. James L. ( Kimberly) Rush of Scooba, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and Godchildren who she loved dearly and unconditionally. She is also survived by her paternal aunts: Pastor Annie Brown ( spiritual mother), Shirley Boyd, Ambassador Charlotte Scott, Mary McGraw and Antionette Cherry, and maternal uncle Ross Clayborne. Lastly, she leaves to cherish her memory of cousins, church family, a number of very close confidantes, countless friends, coworkers and her students and graduates from the Surgical Technology program at EMCC.
