Joe Lee McCoy, 78, of DeKalb, Mississippi passed on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from Anderson Regional Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 14, 2026, from Brown Ridge M.B. Church in DeKalb, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Rush Cemetery in DeKalb, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Friday, February 13, 2026, from Beck Funeral Home DeKalb. Beck Funeral Home DeKalb is in charge of all arrangements.
Joe Lee McCoy is survived by his children; Karen Burton of DeKalb, MS, Joseph McCoy (Maronica) of Killeen, TX; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Grady McCoy of Toomsuba, MS, James McCoy, Jr and Bobby Hayes McCoy both of DeKalb, MS; five sisters, Dorothy McCoy of Meridian, MS, Gussie Boyd, Bertha R. McCoy, Anna Lou McCoy, Pearlie M. Welch all of DeKalb, MS
