John Grady, 79, of Dekalb, Mississippi, passed on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Ochsner Rush Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Beck Funeral Home Chapel of Dekalb. Burial will follow in Belmount M.B. Church Cemetery in Dekalb, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 10:15 A.M. - 10:45 A.M. Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from Beck Funeral Home Dekalb. Beck Funeral Home Dekalb is in charge of all arrangements.
John Grady is survived by his children, Patricia Odom (Keith Odom), Diane Rush (Rev. Henry Rush), Peggy Jones and Lee Roy Carpenter (Lizzie Carpenter) all of Dekalb, MS; one brother, Jack Grady of Des Moines, IA; two sisters, Flora Grady of Des Moines, IA and Lizzie Kirk of Davenport, IA.
Pallbearers are Grandsons and Nephews
