LOUISVILLE

John Willie Slaughter, 80, of Louisville, MS., passed on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Winston County Medical Center, Louisville, MS. Funeral Service will be Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 2 p.m., from Mount Bell M. B. Church, 8215 Brooksville Road, Louisville, MS. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

John was born September 17, 1944 in Winston County Mississippi to Mrs. Earnesteen Slaughter.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie P. Slaughter; mother, Earnesteen Murff; Granddaughter, Teasurer Slaughter; siblings, Evorn Lockett, Billie Charles Earby, William Earby and Rebecca Murff.

John is survived by; children, Tammy slaughter shields (Jessie), Tracey Clark (Willie), Keesha Greer (Craig), Maurice Slaughter (Tarita); 8 grandchildren and 2 great grands;  siblings, Maxine Eichelberger (Roy) and Dee Earl Earby; nephew, Swahili Earby; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.
