Johnnie Mike Harrison, 72, of Union, Mississippi passed on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from his residence in Union, Mississippi. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from Providence Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.
Johnnie Mike Harrison, age 72, of Union, Mississippi, was born on February 8, 1954, and peacefully departed this life on March 14, 2026.
Johnnie was a devoted husband to Mary Ann Harrison and a man known for his strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. A proud 16-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he carried discipline, courage, and honor throughout his life. He later worked as a truck driver, dedicating himself to providing for his family.
Johnnie was a loving grandfather and a man full of life who never missed a moment to bring laughter to those around him. Known for his quick wit and joyful personality, he loved cracking jokes and lifting the spirits of everyone in his presence. His strong heart and mind left a lasting impression on all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mac and Louise Harrison; his sons, Michael Stokes of Quitman, Mississippi, James McBeath, and Kevin McBeath of Philadelphia, Mississippi; his brothers, William Harrison, James Harrison, and Ozzie McBeath; and his sister, Daphne Holley.
Johnnie leaves to cherish his memory a large and loving family. He was the proud father of 25 children, including: Angel (Carlos Wells) Stokes of Moss Point, Mississippi; Linda (Sethsatha Cooley) Stokes of Laurel, Mississippi; Mary Stokes of Laurel, Mississippi; Carissa Stokes of Moss Point, Mississippi; Cassie Harrison; Johnny Harrison of Union, Mississippi; Constance Burnside of Philadelphia, Mississippi; Lynn McBeath of Gulfport, Mississippi; Shemika McBeath of Pascagoula, Mississippi; Angela Lewis of Philadelphia, Mississippi; Paul McBeath of Philadelphia, Mississippi; Barbara McBeath Welch of Philadelphia, Mississippi; Sonya McBeath of Pascagoula, Mississippi; along with two children in Buffalo, New York, and four children residing in Florida.
He also leaves behind 28 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and eight siblings: Linda Cole of Philadelphia, Mississippi; Emma Buckley of Philadelphia, Mississippi; Raven McBeath of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Curry McBeath of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; George McBeath of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Irene McBeath of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Sunny McBeath of Sebastopol, Mississippi; and Betty Ann McBeath of Philadelphia, Mississippi.
Johnnie’s legacy of love, laughter, strength, and family devotion will live on through the many lives he touched.
