Ms. Johnnie Ruth Hunter, 63, of Conehatta, MS passed on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from a vehicular accident in Newton County, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 1, 2023 from Mt. Nebo M.B. Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Friday, March 31, 2023 from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Ms. Johnnie Hunter is survived by her two children, her daughter, Jevonius Deon (Michael) Hudson, her son Jarriat Travell hunter, five grandchildren; Jatarian Mykel Hudson, Alexandria D'Kota Hudson, Angel Javontie Hudson, Kaiden Lyons, Jakari Amir Hunter; one great-grandson; Kartier Mijai Hunter, her baby sister, Hilda Faye Hunter, three brothers; Charles O. (Eloise) Nash Sr., Norman (Ruthie) Nash, Charles Judon. In addition, Johnny leaves to cherish a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly as her own, and many families and friends that will miss her dearly.
