Lakeshia Verdell

Lakeshia Verdell, 39, of Meridian, Mississippi, passed on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at her home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11 a.m., at Saint John Full Gospel Church, 290 T J Verdell Street, Macon, MS  39341. Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 6 p.m. from Saint John Full Gospel Church. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Lakeshia was born October 23, 1985 to the parents of Tommie James Verdell and Mattie Ruth Gavin.

Lakeshia was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Tommie J. Verdell Sr. and her grandparents.

Lakeshia is survived by; mother, Mattie R. Verdell; siblings, Nicole Verdell (Toby Brewer) Christopher Verdell (Sabrina), Diesha Verdell, Shmeka Verdell Vanhorn (Larry), Tommie Verdell, Jr. (Jasel), Yvonne Bellamy (Karreim), Ken Orr;  nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
