Lenard Thames, 65 of Louisville, MS., passed on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Choctaw County Nursing Home, Ackerman, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 at 2 p.m., from the Mount Olive Bethany Harmony District Bldg., 121 Armstrong St., Louisville, MS. Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery, Gholson, MS. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Lenard was born January 2, 1959 in Winston County Mississippi to the parents of Willie Rew Thames and Ethel Harrison Thames.

Lenard was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Ethel Thames.

Lenard is survived by; siblings, Ethel B. Harwell (Craig), Fredrick Thames (Birtha), Amos Thames, Willie J. Thames (Ethel) and Lester Thames (Ada); aunts, Nancy Seals, Mary Alice Goss,  and Frances Harrison; uncles, Howard Harrison (christine), Fred Evans and Mack Evans; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
