Loisteen Compton

Loisteen Steele  Compton, 70, of Louisville, MS., passed on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the Baptist Medical Center, Jackson, MS. Funeral Service will be Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 2 p.m., from Beck Funeral Home, 226 North St., Louisville, MS. 

Loisteen was born January 16, 1956 to the parents of Lee William and Idell Steele in Winston County Mississippi.

Loisteen was preceded in death by her parents, Lee William and Idell Steele ; grandson, Troy Harrington, Jr. ; siblings, Christine, Bobbie, Mattie and Curtis.

Loisteen is survived by her children, Stephanie Steele, Kendrick (Stephanie) Steele, Markeye (Sara) Steele and Sundra (Kenyon) Prezzy; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Wilma (Jimmy), Annette, Brunette, Billy Ray (Typhanie) , Sherman and  William Earl (Evelyn); a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.
