Mae Burnise Wright

Mrs. Mae Burnise Wright, 89, of McCool, Mississippi, passed on Friday, July 26, 2024 at her home.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. from  First Unity United Methodist Church, 68 Coleman Road,  Weir, MS. Visitation will be Friday, August 2, 2024 from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home in Weir. Burial will be in the Spay Community Cemetery. 

Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements. 

Mae was preceded in death by; husband, Lewis Wright, parents, LD and Masree Kennedy Hannah, brother, Sherman Kennedy, sisters, Christell White and Alice Polite. Numerous brother-in-Laws and sister in Laws.

She leaves to mourn her passings her children; JoAnn (Pastor Malik) Shabazz of Mt. Morris, MI., Alvin Fancher of McCool, MS. and Brenda (Boe) Glasschild of Flint, MI; grands, great grands and great great grands; sisters, Carlean McPherson of Detroit, MI., Ree Hickman, Rosie Moore Idey, Rochelle Moore all of Mississippi; sister-in-law, Annie Cunningham of Memphis, TN., numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.
