Funeral Services for First Lady Mamie Louise Turner, 68, of Shuqualak, Mississippi passed on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at her residence in Noxubee County, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 2, 2020 from New Jerusalem Church in Shuqualak, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 9:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 2, 2020 from New Jerusalem Church in Shuqualak, Mississippi. Burial will take place in the Friendship Gholson Baptist Church Cemetery in Gholson, Mississippi. Beck Funeral Home Dekalb, Mississippi is in charge of all arrangements.

Mother Mamie Turner leaves t cherish her memories, her devoted husband f 49 years, Elder Johnie Earl Turner, three children, Tracey ( Bankhead) Shanklin, Alex (Tamela) Turner of Columbus, MS and Angela Turner of Macon, MS, ten grandchildren, Ryheen ( Lizbeth) Shanklin, Joshua Shanklin, Tyler wens, Cashmir Poe, Alexis Turner, Deavery Shanklin, Aliza Turner, Brianna Shanklin, Travon Shanklin and KaLeila Fote, ne great- grandchild, Onree Walker III, three siblings, James Cole of Dekalb, MS, Mary Ann Brock of Macon, MS and Catherine ( Lloyd) Smith of Auburndale Florida, one aunt, Fannie Mae Jennings of Meridian, MS, two uncles, Ozell Stennis and Robert Stennis of Andersn, Indiana, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The Officiating Minister was Bishop Leroy Horne.

Funeral homes have been advised to keep visitations, Funerals, and memorial services to the smallest gathering of immediate family members only.
