Mrs. Mamie Ruth Peeler, 87, of Philadelphia, MS., passed on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at the Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Meridian, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 12 p.m., from Jerusalem Temple Church, Inc., 414 Ivy Street, Philadelphia, MS. 39350. Visitation will be Friday, from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Mrs. Peeler, will be placed in the Church on Saturday, one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in the W. C. Calloway Memorial Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Philadelphia in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mamie Peeler leaves to cherish her memories her children, Charlene Peeler ( Dan) Clarkson, Austin Texas, Terry ( Shirley) Peeler, Livington, Alabama, Minister Jerry ( Francis) Peeler, Jackson, Olridge ( Linda) Peeler, Jr. and Stacey Peeler, both of Philadelphia, Mississippi, Dr. Monica ( Fred) Reed, Franklin, Tennessee, her sister, Nettie Parker of Philadelphia, Mississippi and her brother, Jim ( Brenda) Riley, Detroit, Michigan, three special sisters-in law, Voreece Rodgers of St. Louis, Missouri, Armi Jean Jeffries and Ruby ( Matthew) Gatewood both of Waterford, Mississippi, a brother-in-law, Larry ( Robbiest) Peeler, and two special lifelong friends, Odessa Banks and Brother John ( Shirley) Cole. Mamie has seventeen grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
