Marnita Brown

Marnita Brown, 70, of Dekalb, Mississippi passed on January 7, 2025, from her residence in Kemper County, Mississippi.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2025, from Mt. Mariah M.B. Church in Macon, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Macon, Mississippi.  Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Friday, January 17, 2025 from Beck Funeral Home Dekalb.  Beck Funeral Home Dekalb is in charge of all arrangements.

Marnita is survived by two daughters; Stacey (Ronnie) Bennomon of Meridian, MS and Olivia Brown of Porterville, MS; one son, Tollas ( Tiffany) Brown of Macon, MS; five sisters, Rosie Hopkins, Susie Knight, Hazel Shepard, all of Hattiesburg, MS, Aretha (Haywood) Mitchell of Macon, MS; one sister -in-law, Annie Ruth Brown; 13 grand children, 22 great grand children and a devoted friendship of 17 year, Mr. Cecil Moore.

Sister Marnita was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Rosezalla Brown; her siblings, Lonnie Brown, L.C. Brown, Rev. Charleston Brown, German Brown, Ezra Brown and Janie Jordan, as well as 4 sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
