Mrs. Mattie Mae Lyon, 84, of Noxapater, Mississippi passed on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from her home, Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 18, 2022 from Mt. Ary M.B. Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Burial will take place in the Mt. Ary M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 17, 20222 from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Moore of Jackson, MS, Elder Willis (Lisa) Lyon and Adam Mitchell ( Angie) Lyon of Philadelphia, MS, Avis Lyon Cole of Noxapater, MS, Lucy Lyon Bufkin of Louisville, MS, Pacrite L. Lyon, Janice Lyon Ross of Noxapater, MS, and Timothy ( Beverly) Lyon of Philadelphia, MS, two brothers, Lee Earl (Mary Jean) Hathorne and Jimmy Hathorne of Chicago, IL, two sisters, Quilla Mae McDonald of Noxapater, MS and Marcella Hathorne of Chicago, IL, 32 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, two extremely close friends and confidants, Ms. Annie (Tutta) Fulton of Noxapater, MS and Mrs. Christine Burnside of Philadelphia, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
