Mattie Louise Winters

Mattie Louise Winters, 76, of Ackerman, Mississippi, passed on Thursday, January 15, 2026, in Eupora, Mississippi. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date by the Family. Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements.

She was born July 30, 1946 to Mattie Watts Power and James Franklin Power.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Winters; parents, Mattie and James Power; (1) son, baby boy Wylie; and (2) brothers, Sammy Power and Jerry Power.

Mattie is survived by (4) sons, Rayford Power of Texas, Earl Power of Stewart, MS., Michael Power and Frankie Power of Mathiston, MS; (4) daughters, Lorene Roberts of Aberdeen, MS., Brenda Nell Starks of New Mexico, Crystal Power and Faye McCormick of Ackerman, MS; (3) sisters, Addie Wylie of Winona, MS, Linda Talley of Ackerman, MS and Brenda Burson of Mathiston, MS; (4) brothers, Butch Watts of Batesville, MS, Johnny Power of Seminary, MS, Roy Power of Mathiston, MS, and Arthur Power of Tishomingo, OK; (19) grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.
