Maxie Cornelia Sherrod

Maxine Cornelia Sherrod, 82 of Maywood, IL., formerly of Louisville, MS., passed on Tuesday, December 3, 2024; surrounded by her family and friends.

Funeral service will be Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 11 a.m., from Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 5559 Crystal Ridge Road, Louisville, MS. 39339. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Maxie, was born to the parents of Jimpson Smith and Ida Mae Jackson on July 4, 1942.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimpson and Ida Mae; brother, Robert .

Leaving to cherish her precious memory are her loving husband, Robert; sons, Robert (Tonya), Kevin (Theresa); daughter, Georgia(Luther); sister, Ethel McMiller; grandchildren, in-laws and other relatives and friends;
