On Sunday April 28, 2024 Mercie passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family at the age of 74. She was born January 1, 1950, to Mr. Everette and Addie B. Hudson in Stallo, MS She graduated from Magnolia High School in Moss Point, MS; she was employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS for 34 years. Mercie accepted Christ in her life in 1980 and after retirement she relocated back to Philadelphia, MS and was a member of Jerusalem Temple Apostolic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. Everette and Evangelist Addie B. Hudson her (3) brothers Everette Hudson, Jr. Bobby Hudson, and Anthony Hudson and her beloved daughter Ninety - Nine Tatum- Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Portia (Edward) Shelby , Kristie B. Marino; granddaughters: Tearny (David) Black, Naomi Marino, Hannah Williams and grandson Ephraim Broughton; great grandchildren, Anthony and Bebe Stallworth, Alex and JJ McClendon; three sisters, Effie Barrett, Bonnie Hodge and Norwechie H. Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Bishop Clifton Jones is the officiate for services. Pallbearers are family members and friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mercie Marino will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 4, 2024 from Jerusalem Temple Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 1:15 P.M. - 1:45 P.M. Saturday, May 4, 2024 from Jerusalem Temple Church. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.
