Sunday, October 10, 2021 from Neshoba County Coliseum of Philadelphia, Mississippi. Burial will take place in the Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Saturday, October 9, 2021 from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Michael Sims, Sr, is survived by the love of his life Dorine McAfee Sims, three sons: Michael R. (Tiffany) Sims, Jr. of Virginia, Shadrick ( Lindsey) McAfee of Atlanta, GA, Antwan McAfee ( Bernadette) of Atlanta, GA, three adopted children, Jonathan ( Courtney) McGee, Johndrees McGee, of Philadelphia, MS, Oscar (Martime) Gray of Madison, MS. One Aunt Eden Norman of St. Louis, MO, thee uncles. Woodrow Thames, Archie Thames. and Willie Thames all of St. Louis Missouri. Ten Granchildren, Kayla, Sari, Jayden, Safeer, Kennedy, Kendrick, Braylon, Maya, Kendrea, and Allison. He also leaves a host of cousins, friends, and relatives.
