Norman Thomas James, 63, of Ackerman, Mississippi, passed on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at his sister's home in Weir, Mississippi.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 2 p.m., at Beck Funeral Home, 4860 MS Hwy. 12, Weir, MS. 39772. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 12 noon until the Funeral Hour. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery, 2887 Concord-Bethsalem Road, Ackerman, MS. 39735. Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements.
Norman was born January 17, 1963 to the parents of George Russell James and Martha Jean Hill James.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, George and Martha J. James; siblings, Ruby Jean Johnson, George Russell James, II, and Virgin Allen James.
Norman is survived by his sisters, Janet Faye Powers, and Nancy Lorena Bright; nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
