Odett Earnest Talley, 84, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Monday, June 29, 2020 from Anderson Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 4, 2020 from Greater Rose Hill Cemetery in Union, Mississippi. Visitation will be held held 9:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 4, 2020 from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Odett Earnest Talley is preceded in death by her parents, Sally and Eli Earnest, two sons, Glendale Talley and Larry Talley, her two sisters, Syble Stribling and Dorothy Jean Darby, five brothers, Opal Earnest ( Twin), Jay R. Earnest, Miller Earnest, Charles Earnest and Neal Earnest, four grandchildren, Tabitha Clay, Billy Talley, Recardo Harris, and Landon Bogan.

Odett married her childhood sweetheart, Waldel Talley in 1949 and twelve children were born to this union. Odett was a stay at home mom who devoted her life to raising her children and grandchildren. Until her health began to fail in the mid 2000's. She was placed into Hilltop Nursing Home in 2016. She leaves to cherish her memories, five daughters, Sinnia Johnson, Gail ( Ben) Windford, Lisa ( Brad) Crockett, Kim ( Quinton), Lashonda Talley, six sons, O.B. Talley, John ( Rebecca) Talley, Randy Talley, Robert ( Pam) Talley, Bruce ( Michelle) Talley, and Paultanion Talley, three sisters, Joe Earnest, Madaline Earnest, and Patricia Ann ( Sonny) McBeath, one brother, Earl Earnest, ( 141) grand and great grandchildren, two special Goddaughters, Shundrell Clemons, and Tanishaa Lockett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
