Prentis Triplett, Jr. of Moss Point, Mississippi, was born April 18, 1955, to the late C. J. Triplett and the late Edna Mae Hathorn Triplett. He passed to eternal life on Thursday, May 7, 2026, in Moss Point, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 P.M Saturday, May 16, 2026 from Talley M.B. Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in Mt. Talley M.B. Church Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi.

He accepted God as his personal Savior at an early age.

Prentis was a lifelong resident of Moss Point, Mississippi. He loved family and friends. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He never met a stranger and was always kind to everyone he met and knew.

He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He had an outgoing personality and loved having fun and making others smile and laugh. He enjoyed watching football and playing cards. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C.J. Triplett and Edna Mae Hathorn Triplett; his sisters, Mary Ann Triplett and Judy Triplett; his brother, Henry Earl Triplett; his grandparents, Floyd and Willie Hathorn, and paternal grandparents, Jack Triplett and Helen Reynolds; aunts and uncles, Merlene Jackson, Edna Earl Monroe, and Roy Hathorn.
