Robert Gene McDonald

Robert Gene McDonald, 77, of Union, Mississippi, passed on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Ochsner Rush Medical Center, Meridian, MS. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11 A.M., from Greater Rose Hill M.B. Church Cemetery, Union, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 4 until 6 P.M., from the Funeral Home. Beck Funeral Home of Philadelphia is in charge of arrangements. 

Robert McDonald "Winky" is survived by his children: Angie Haggins (Mac), Latoya Jackson, Misty Jackson, Lisa Ann McDonald, Arleana Young (Jamar), Robin McDonald, Ronald Roberts (Sherita), Troy James (Aklemia), Raymond Jones, Michael Donald and Kenneth Roberts; brothers: James Scott and Leroy Scott; sister. Teresa Bradley; godchildren: Debreshia Thames and David Dellar.  Although Robert a host of grand and great-grandchildren, he raised three as his own: DeAndre, Michael and Trent McDonald, along with Cameron, Lucy, Ky, LaRonda, MacKenzie, Deayujah, Aaron, Devonte and Darian.  He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who will miss him dearly.
