Roy Roger Kennedy

Deacon Roy Roger Kennedy, 75, of Ackerman, MS., passed on Monday, November 24, 2025 at his home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 06, 2025, at 11 a.m., from the Choctaw County Community Center, 895 College Street, Ackerman, MS. 39735. Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. The Eulogy will be delivered by Rev. Carl Lee Fair. Burial will be in the Robinson Chapel Cemetery, Ackerman, MS. Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements.

Deacon Kennedy was born September 15, 1950, in Webster County Mississippi to the parents of Leroy Kennedy and Pearline Coffee Kennedy.

Deacon Kennedy was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Pearline Kennedy; siblings, Robert Carr and Bobbie Jean Kennedy.

Deacon Kennedy is survived by his wife, Annie M. Kennedy; children, Dwight Robinson (Tersia), Rena Bush (Robert), Tomecia Turnipseed (Leroy) and Elroy Kennedy; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grands ; nieces, nephews, in-laws and other relatives and family.
