Shelia Houston, 59, of Preston, Mississippi passed on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from her residence in Kemper County, Mississippi.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from Preston Pentecostal Apostolic Church in Preston, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in Preston Pentecostal Apostolic Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Monday, December 22, 2025, from Beck Funeral Home Dekalb.  Beck Funeral Home Dekalb is in charge of all arrangements.

Shelia Houston is survived by her life partner, Alvin Woods; her children,  Alvino (Whittley) Houston, Shelly (Tony) Harrington, both of Philadelphia, MS, Nicholas Houston of Preston, MS; 12 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Willie H. (Shalonda ) Houston of Philadelphia, MS, Willie M. Houston of Meridian, MS, Delvin Houston of Preston, MS, and Stanley Houston of Meridian, MS; 2 sisters, Maryann Houston of Philadelphia, MS, and Patricia (Glenn) Burrage of Dekalb, MS.
