Saturday, September 2, 2023 from Jerusalem Temple Church om Philadelphia, Mississippi. Burial will follow in St. Paul M.B. Church Cemetery of Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Friday, September 1, 2023 from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Shellie leaves to cherish heartfelt memories her loving husband Johnny McCarty of 39 years. Six children, Stephanie Denise McCarty, Sanqarell (Ukisha) Jernigan, Lakeshia (Tariq) Hodges; Parish McCarty (James); Charlynda Seales and Teraven Thomas. Her Siblings Bonnies Jean Townsend (Sister); and i brother Marzette Jernigan.
