Shirley Mae Robinson

Shirley Mae Robinson, 78, of Ackerman, MS., passed on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Baptist Medical Center, Starkville, MS. Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11 a.m., from Beck Funeral Home, 4860 MS Hwy. 12, Weir, MS. Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements.

Shirley was born November 22, 1947 in Choctaw County Mississippi to the parents of Henry Roland and Mamie Lou Dotson Curtis.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mamie Lou; siblings, Ethel L. Curtis, Callie Stone, Willie L. Curtis, John L. Curtis, Helen Mosley, Eva Curtis and Thomas Curtis.

Shirley is survived by her children, Stanley Curtis (Marybell), Antonia Curtis, Shirley A. Robinson, Leslie Miller, Gary Robinson, Edwin Robinson and Angela Jones (Alvin); 26 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; siblings, Ina Lee Gladney, Ricky Curtis (Linda), Jackie Curtis and Andrew Curtis (Gloria); sister-in-law, Loubertha Curtis; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.
