Thelma Jane Nichols

Thelma Jane Nichols, 94, of Saginaw, MI., passed on Monday, March 7, 2022, at the Hoyt Nursing Home, Saginaw, MI. Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 11 A.M., From the Midway M. B. Church, Union, MS. Visitation will be 10:00 until 10:45 a.m., on Saturday, prior to service. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Philadelphia in charge of arrangements.

Her Memory will be cherished by her two sons, Jimmie ( Katrine) and Dwayne Nichols of Saginaw, MI; two daughters, Delphine ( Michael) Greene of Saginaw, MI and Hollistine (AL) Holston of Braselton, GA.; 12 grandchildren, DeAndria, Matthew, Martin, Kobi ( Jayme), Jimmie III ( Kimberly), Ashley ( Alvin) Aloyious II, Michael Nikolas ( Elena), Richard, Shae'Tece and Dwayne Jr.: 24 great grandchildren; one brother, Clois ( Idella) Smith, Toledo, OH; one sister, Leodia ( Marzetta) Powell, Kennesaw, GA; one sister in law, Dr. Jean O. Smith, Saginaw, MI; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her church family, friends including special friends, Ethel Drain, Virgie Nichols, Liz Nichols-Bitlers, Evelyn Woods and Fannie Mae Nichols.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie T. and Beatrice ( Tingle) Smith; husband, Jimmie L. Nichols, Sr.; sisters, Hazel Woodhouse, Viola Smith and Velma Bell; brothers, Rev. Henry Clay, Johnie D., Johnnie Albert, and Raymond Smith; oldest son Darwin Nichols; step daughter, Brenda Nichols Foster; great granddaughter, Maisie Grace Nichols, and special friend, Dessie Cullins.
