Tommie Gene Gatheright

Tommie Gene Gatheright, 76, of Ackerman, MS., passed on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at his home. Funeral Service will be Monday, May 25, 2026 at 11 a.m., from Beck Funeral Home, 4860 MS Hwy. 12, Weir, MS. Visitation will be the day of service one hour before service time. Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements.

Tommie was born August 26, 1949 in Kemper County, Mississippi to Christine and Tommy Gatheright.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Christine and Tommy Gatheright; siblings, John, Steve, Evie, Gloria and Myrtle.

Tommie is survived by his three siblings, Billy Joe Gatheright (Danielle), Martha Gladney and Rose McKinnie (Andrew); (1) aunt , Leona "Dump" Nunn and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
