Funeral Services for Mr. Tommy Lee Kelly, 69, of Philadelphia, Mississippi will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 5, 2024, from St. Paul M.B. Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Burial will follow in St. Paul M.B. Church Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Friday, October 4, 2024, from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.
Tommy Lee Kelly was born on July 31, 1955, to Henry Tom Kelly and Blondean Kelly. He was known for his cooking, dancing, big smile, and spending time with his family. He grew up in Philadelphia, attended Philadelphia High School, and graduated in 1973. He attended college at Mississippi Valley and majored in business. Tommy's dedication to his work was unwavering. For over 40 years, he was the heart and soul of Williams Brothers as a meat butcher. His skill and attention to detail made him a beloved figure among co-workers and customers. But it was his exceptional work ethic, warm smile, and kind heart that truly set him apart. His passion for his craft and steadfast commitment to the community left an indelible mark on all who knew him, making his loss deeply felt. Tommy departed this life on September 25, 2024, at Neshoba General in Philadelphia, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Tom and Blondean Kelly, and maternal grandparents, Dan Edwards and Isabell Edwards Parker, paternal grandparents Less and Jessie Mae Kelly, brother James Horne, and niece Tiffany Horne.
Tommy is survived by his siblings Sheila Kelly (James), Philadelphia, MS; Dana Kelly (Rochelle) Winnsboro, LA; Jonathan Kelly Sr (Kristene), Albany, GA; Tamika Kelly, Philadelphia, MS; his special friend Shirley Hayes; his nephews, niece, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Travin Kelly- Arnold, Tyler Williams, Jonathan Kelly Jr., Nolaski Burnside, Khaya Kelly Mollique(Robert), Jamie Horne, Valerie Horne, A’liyah Williams, Tru Williams, Chance Cooper, Robert Mollique Jr, Keyontai Mollique, Kha’mya Kelly, and Ri'mya Kelly. Stepdaughter Nicole McDaniel, stepson Jontoul Gibbs, God sisters Myeisha Jones and Mariah Jones Aunt: Inize Lyons, Christeen McKinney (James), Irene Walker (Henry), Ardella Abdeldgair, Leslie Mae Stribling, Barbara Franks, Uncle James Kelly (Brenda), Robert Dan Edwards, and Henry Edwards, and a host of cousins and friends.
