Travis Evans, 40, of Union, MS passed on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from his residence in Newton County, Mississippi. Graveside Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 22, 2021 from Little Mountain M.B. Church in Union, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 12:00 P.M. - 1:15 P.M. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from Beck Funeral Home of Philadelphia, Mississippi. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Travis Sentel Evans was born on September 3, 1981, to the late Tommie D. Evans., and Lee O. Buckley Evans Patrick at Laird Hospital in Union Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his father and mother; paternal grandparents, Junior Evans and Lucille McDougle; maternal grandparents, Cleo and Ola Mae Buckley, and his brother, Tommie C. Evans.

Travis loved watching sports, educational shows, and the game show network. He also enjoyed eating his favorite foods and drinking his sweet tea.

He departed this life on January 12, 2022, at his home in Union, Mississippi.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, John F. Evans of Union, Mississippi; Alicia F. Evans- Williams of Lena, Mississippi; Barbara Evans- Donald of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Tommie D. Evans, Jr. of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; uncles, Clevie S. Buckley and Willie Evans; aunts, Marie Calloway and Thelma Evans; great uncle , Charles Ray " Goober" McDougle and Great aunt, Fannie Mae McDougle and a host of cousins.
