Virgil Horne, Jr., 73, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 7, 2023, from St. Paul M.B. Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Burial will follow in St. Paul M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Friday, October 6, 2023 from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Mr. Virgil Horne leaves to cherish three children: Stacy (Laurice) Horne of Meridian, MS, Reika (Octavius) Wallace and Virlenchia Buckley of Union, MS; four sisters: Minnie (Ranson) Scott of Hamilton GA; Joy (Elsworth) Gottlieb of Lockport, NY; Lynette Herron and Cecelia (Keith) Robertson of Buffalo, NY; Seven grandchildren ,special uncles and aunts, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
