William Howard Steele

Mr. William Howard Steele, 93, passed on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 in Neshoba County, Mississippi. Graveside Services were held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 16, 2020 from Mt. Zion U.M. Church Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Beck Funeral Home of Philadelphia was in charge of all arrangements.

William Howard Steele was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years ( Lula Mae) and his 8th offspring ( Son, David). He is survived by 8 other sons and daughters, William Earl ( Dorothy), Clarence ( Sarah), Herman ( Edna), Margaret (Ernest), Helen, Dorothy ( Randolph), Sherry, Darrell and devoted daughters -in- laws ( Xenobia and Yvette). He also leaves behind 21 grandchildren, 34 great- grandchildren a 1 great-great- grandchild and host o f nieces and nephews that he loves dearly. Two that he raised as his own, Cleveland Combs and Fannie Dowels.

Funeral homes have been advised to keep visitations, Funerals, and memorial services to the smallest gathering of immediate family members only.
