On Sunday, May 24, 2020 Mr. Willie Clyde Moore "answered" his call and transitioned from labor to reward. Clyde, the eldest of six children, was born to the late Brinton and Angie Moore on March 23,1942 in Philadelphia (Stallo Community) Mississippi. He was a life-long active member of Mt. Ary Missionary Baptist Church. Because of his love of God, he served in many capacities within the church. These capacities included deacon, Sunday school teacher, church administrator, church treasurer, and church usher. He also served on committees with the Mt. Olive District Association. Clyde was a graduate of Noxapater High School, Okolona Jr. College and Mississippi Valley State University. He taught industrial arts at Booker T. Washington High School and Philadelphia High School. He also touched the lives of many students as an instructor at the Walnut Grove Correctional Facility. To this day, many former students fondly refer to him as "Shop Moe." His entrepreneurial spirit inspired him to become a businessman in the areas of farming, logging, and real estate. Although a quiet man by nature, Clyde was readily accessible to give a lending ear and advice to many. Clyde was married to the late Charlsie Faye Stribling for fifty years, and to this union, four children were born. He leaves to celebrate his legacy four devoted children, Debbie Moore of Oxnard, CA, Jonathan (Lisa) Moore of Madison, MS, Nicole (Melvin) Morrison of Cypress, TX, and Orlando Moore of Philadelphia, MS; grandchildren, Jade Taylor, Nicholas Moore, Alandria Moore, Jaden Lanier, Brooklyn Moore, and Kennedy Moore; siblings, Pelmer (Audrey) Moore, Deborah (Everette) Rash, Jawana (Mack) Young and Melissa Moore. He also leaves to mourn daughters-in-law Rhonda Moore and Ashley Moore; sister-in-law Clara Faye Stribling; brothers-in-law John, Larry and Travis Stribling and Willie Kelly. He also leaves to cherish his aunt, Arkent Chisom, and his uncle, Robert Moore, both of San Bernardino, California, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Clyde joins in eternal rest with his wife Charlsie, parents Brinton and Angie and sister Luwana Moore Kelly.
