Willie Earl Lewis Jr., 62, of Collinsville, Mississippi passed on Monday, July 6, 2020 from his residence in Collinsville, Mississippi. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 16, 2020 from Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 12:15 P.M. - 12:45 P.M. Thursday, July 16, 2020 for the General Public. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Mr. Willie Earl Lewis, Jr., son of the late Willie Earl Lewis, Sr. and the late Louise Poe, departed this life peacefully on July 6, 2020 at his home in Collinsville, Mississippi.

Willie graduated from Philadelphia High School in Philadelphia, MS in 1975, where he was an honor student. He later attended meridian Junior College in Meridian, MS where he graduated with a degree in Physical Education.

He the started to work at several locations in Meridian, including South Elementary School, Peaveys Electronics and later on retiring from Roadway in Meridian, MS.

He was known around Meridian, Collinsville and Philadelphia as Truck Lewis. Always fun- loving, always caring, always reaching out to help others to make sure that his family was okay. Always calling his family and friends to make sure that they were okay. He was a Rock, Hero, and a Champion to his family.

Willie was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ms Callie Reed, his mother, Ms. Louise Poe, his father Mr. Willie Earl Lewis and three brothers; Ray Charles Lewis, Johnny Lewis and J.D. Poe.
